Capturing special moments for close friends is always such a heartfelt experience, and Brittany and Manny’s maternity session on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk and beach was no exception. I’ve known Brittany and Manny for a few years, so when they asked me to document this new chapter in their lives, I was beyond thrilled and honored.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day—October in Ocean City can be unpredictable, but we were blessed with warm, sunny weather that made the session feel like an extended summer day. The crisp autumn air mixed with the lingering warmth of the season, creating the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot.

We kicked off the session on the boardwalk, where Brittany and Manny wanted to keep things light-hearted and fun. They decided to start with something quintessentially Ocean City—a whole Manco & Manco pizza and birch beer. There’s something so nostalgic and comforting about enjoying boardwalk treats, and it brought out their playful side. The sight of them laughing, sharing slices of pizza, and just being themselves was truly a joy to capture. The casual, relaxed vibe of the boardwalk was the perfect way to start the session and set the tone for the evening.

As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, we transitioned to the beach for golden hour. The light at this time was absolutely magical, casting a soft, golden glow that wrapped around Brittany and Manny as they walked hand in hand along the shoreline. The mood shifted to something more intimate and serene, perfectly reflecting the love and anticipation they have for their growing family. The beach was quiet, almost as if it was just us, the gentle waves, and the beautiful golden light. It was a perfect moment—one where everything seemed to stand still, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of this special time in their lives.

The entire session was filled with so much love and joy, and it was clear to me that Brittany and Manny are going to be incredible parents. Their connection, their laughter, and the way they cherish each other—it all came through so beautifully in the photos. As I packed up my gear and we said our goodbyes, I couldn’t help but feel excited for them and the little one on the way. I’m counting down the days until I get to meet their baby and see this amazing couple step into their new role as parents.

This session was truly special, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it. Brittany and Manny, thank you for trusting me with these precious memories—I can’t wait to see what the future holds for your beautiful family.
