A Sacred and Festive Spring Wedding in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Abraham & Anna’s wedding day fully encapsulated the meaning of “it takes a village.” All of their cherished family and friends came to celebrate their love on the most gorgeous Spring day. Anna got ready surrounded by her sisters, mom, and grandmothers in a makeshift bridal suite in Proclamation Presbyterian Chuch. Blankets covered the windows that peered into the hallway with and acted as makeshift blinds. It was an all-hands-on-deck situation, as her sisters steamed her dress and veil, fixed Anna’s hair, put on her shoes, and even got their mother into her dress.
Abraham showed up to the church ready to go and looking dapper in his grey twill suit. Anna and Abraham had a private “first touch” moment as they blessed the day in prayer.
When it was time for the ceremony, Anna graced the front of the aisle arm-in-arm with her father. The entire church broke out in song for the majority of the mass – a loving and joyous celebration. After the two tied the knot, they had an early afternoon brunch for their church family. Friends and family had a picnic on the lawn in the sunshine. Festivities paused for a couple of hours while the newlyweds freshened up and changed their clothes for a casual reception at La Cabra Brewing in Berwyn, PA. Both Anna & Abraham’s fathers gave a loving speech, and immediately after the dance floor was full. The night ended surrounded in love and excitement for the future as husband and wife.
