Their coastal chic September Beach Club of Cape May wedding celebration unfolded against the picturesque backdrop of a venue that seamlessly blends natural beauty with the timeless charm of a coastal setting. Why They Chose the Beach Club of Cape May
Selecting Beach Club of Cape May as the venue was a decision that shaped the entire wedding. With a keen eye on the advantages of a September wedding – the ideal weather and a serene ambiance – Julie and Tim navigated the planning process with grace. Their choices reflected a perfect blend of coastal chic and natural simplicity, creating a unique and unforgettable experience. Personal touches and heartfelt moments were woven seamlessly into the fabric of their celebration.
Getting Ready, Fashion, & First Looks
Nestled in the coastal atmosphere of Cape May, the Beach Club became the canvas for Julie and Tim’s love story. A very short walk from the venue, they, along with their wedding party and family, prepared for the day in a charming Airbnb. Their beloved pup, Dewey the Frenchie, added an extra layer of joy to the getting ready moments and even posed for a few photos of his own. Julie’s bridal ensemble was a vision of class and sophistication. Draped in a white wedding gown by designer Miss Scarlett The Label, from the highly rated DayDream Bridal in Ardmore, PA, she epitomized coastal beauty. Tim complemented her look with a tan suit and Gucci shoes, striking the perfect balance between formal and beach chic. Julie had an exciting first look with her bridesmaids and parents before seeing Tim for the first time on their wedding day. Julie and Tim’s private first look was in the front yard surrounded by gardens and greenery.
Portraits, Ceremony, & Decor
We took some beautiful portraits with the bridal party in the front yard of the Airbnb with all of the greenery before heading to Poverty Beach for a more coastal vibe. It was an incredibly gorgeous day with a mix of sun and big fluffy white clouds. Their ceremony was on the Beach Club of Cape May’s private beach, and they had a lush floral arch in the sand that made for charming photos of their “I Do”. The coastal theme permeated every aspect of Julie and Tim’s wedding. From the carefully chosen color palette of dusty blues and whites, inspired by the sea, to the unique decor elements that echoed the surrounding coastal beauty, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The beach club’s private spot on the shore became the canvas for a ceremony that mirrored the timeless elegance of the venue.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
After their ceremony, the cocktail hour around the pool area of the Beach Club of Cape May was flooded with their close friends, family and delicious cocktails. Julie and Tim’s Beach Club of Cape May joyful reception echoed with laughter, and every moment was captured with intention. Candid shots of the wedding party, family portraits, and intimate portraits of the bride and groom reflected the genuine happiness that vibrated throughout the day the day. The culinary experience mirrored the coastal theme, with a menu inspired by local flavors, curated by The Washington Inn.
